kehai
kehai
Designed by Makoto Koizumi
"kehai" embodies a slightly ambiguous sign of time. This wall clock was originally designed in 2004 and has now been produced.
The movement of the dimly visible hands softly conveys an ambiguous sign of time through the translucent glass. Choose from three colors, depending on the wall material, to ensure that it blends in with the space and resembles a sign. The red dot on the second hand slowly turns like an objet d'art. The thin, delicate, yet strong aluminum frame is manufactured by Takata Factory using casting technology.
– Designer's message –
We sometimes find the presence of a clock unpleasant.
And sometimes the existence of time is also unpleasant.
So a slightly ambiguous sign of time is just fine.
Makoto Koizumi

I am not sure about how it should be placed on the table because it keeps rolling on the surface…and seems that should not be so for a clock which should be oriented in a certain direction so that we know what number the legs are pointing to
Is it just me so i can get some guidance?
Thank you for your review and we sincerely apologize for our delayed response. We recently set up our review system and missed your message earlier.
We'd like to clarify that the kehai is designed as a wall clock, not a table clock. It's meant to be mounted on the wall, which is why it doesn't sit stably on a flat surface. The components at the back are for wall mounting. Once properly hung on the wall, the clock will display correctly with the numbers in their intended orientation.
We apologize for any confusion. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us. Thank you.
